Last week, the main Visitor Center greeted Ireri and Onofie Padilla with their children, Carlos and Alexia. They came to visit Savannah from Mexico City. An excited Ireri told the visitor information staff how she had read “Gone with the Wind” when she was 11 years old, and ever since, wanted to visit the South.

Savannah’s rich architecture offerings have been long sought after by Hollywood to serve as a backdrop for movies and tv shows. It’s no surprise that those moments continue to serve as inspiration for our guests to plan a visit.
