Support the Tourism Community at Thursday’s City Council Meeting

This week is National Travel & Tourism Week, an annual nationwide celebration of the accomplishments of the travel community. Like other cities throughout the country, The City of Savannah will be issuing a Proclamation to honor Travel and Tourism and its profound positive economic and workforce impact in Savannah. The Chamber, along with our partners at the Tourism Leadership Council, would like to encourage members and their staff of all levels to attend the City Council Meeting next Thursday, May 10 at 2 p.m. to hear the proclamation and show the tourism community’s pride in our industry.
The Travel & Tourism Week proclamation should be very early on the agenda. Please remember to arrive early as there is a security check at City Hall that may take a few moments to get through.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Date: Thursday, May 10
Time: 2 p.m. (arrive at 1:40 to get through security on time)
