Each year the National Tour Association holds a meeting called Contact, which is aimed at bringing the presidents, owners and CEOs of the country’s top tour companies together for several days of education and networking. This year Mindy Shea, director of tour, travel and international sales for Visit Savannah, attended the gathering in Charleston. During the course of the event she was asked to participate on an expert panel to discuss current trends in the group tour industry. She also had the opportunity to promote Savannah and its proximity to this year’s show.
