Visit Savannah Attends Georgia Governor’s Conference on Tourism
The Visit Savannah team attended the Georgia Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Jekyll Island last week, where they met with other tourism professionals from all over the state to exchange ideas and learn about best practices. The conference started with Explore Georgia’s presentation about the importance of tourism to the state’s economy.
It detailed the latest trends in tourism, including the growing popularity of experiential travel and the increasing importance of social media marketing.
