Visit Savannah’s Mindy Shea, director of tour, travel & international sales, and Visit Savannah President Joe Marinelli recently attended IPW in Washington, D.C. IPW is the largest international travel trade show in the U.S., and this year there were more than  6,400 attendees including 1,300 international buyers from 70 countries. Shea teamed with Georgia tourism partners to conduct 55 appointments during the 3-day show while Marinelli met with international journalists during the Media Day. The Georgia trade show booth was reflective of the state’s “Year of Film” marketing theme, and made for some great photo opportunities for clients.
