Seven top tour operators from the UK and Ireland visited Savannah in July. The trip, sponsored by Delta Airlines, allowed the operators to see some of Georgia’s top destinations, including Savannah. While in town, attendees had the chance to sample some of the local cuisine, take tours and have free time to enjoy local shops and galleries. All operators were impressed with this city and plan to promote Savannah to their international travelers when they returned home.
