Visit Savannah in Ireland
Visit Savannah President, Joseph Marinelli, along with Mayor Van Johnson, Georgia Southern University President, Dr. Kyle Morrero, and others from SEDA and World Trade Center Savannah, are in Ireland this week for the 2023 Economic Development Mission. Each were interviewed on the Irish national radio network during halftime while attending a hurling match between Wexford and West Mead. The trip will continue all week with the opening of the new GSU student dorm facility, a variety of economic development meetings and a number of travel agency presentations. The group will visit County Wexford, Kilkenny and Dublin.
