Several Visit Savannah staff members spent Aug. 11 on a Bull River Cruises boat with members of the Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary Foundation to learn about the organization and about the coastal environment that Visit Savannah promotes to visitors each day. The group also discussed ways to promote the Gray’s Reef Ocean Film Festival that occurs each January. Special thanks goes to Bull River Cruises owner, Mike Neal, for the tour and Cathy Sakas, chair of the board of trustees of the foundation, and Chris Hines, executive director, for sharing their vision for the foundation and film festival.
