Visit Savannah staffers Joseph Marinelli and Jeff Hewitt met with the Director General of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Affairs Office Mr. Vincent Jing-Yen Liu and his associate to discuss economic trade and tourism between Taiwan and Georgia. Director General Liu also met with the Mayor’s office and representatives from the Georgia Ports and SEDA.
Both gentlemen were very impressed with Savannah’s beauty, architecture and the friendliness of our people, saying, “I will go back to Taiwan and tell everyone that Savannah has the beauty of a charming European city with the spirit of America’s Southern hospitality.”
