Next Thursday, Buy Local Savannah is hosting a lunch aboard Savannah Riverboat Cruises’ Georgia Queen featuring Joseph Marinelli of Visit Savannah and Michael Owens of the Tourism Leadership Council as the guest speakers. Topics of discussion are to include how to harness the power of local to attract visitors. Networking will begin at 11 a.m. and the lunch and program will begin at 11:45 a.m. sharp. Lunch will end promptly at 1 p.m. to allow the boat to accomodate their afternoon tour. The cost is $20 for Buy Local Savannah members and $30 for non-members. Memberships are available for $100.
