Shannon Lowery and Larissa Allen, Visit Savannah’s social media coordinator and digital content manager, spent March 9 greeting visitors to the area and sharing information about Savannah at the I-95 Georgia Welcome Center for Georgia on My Mind Day.
Allen and Lowery treated guests to a sweet taste of Savannah with pralines and Visitors Guides under the live oaks and Spanish moss in the experiential Visit Savannah area of the Welcome Center, which Visit Tybee and Visit Savannah received the 2017 Bill Hardman, Sr. Tourism Partnership Champion Award for their part in designing and creating.
