Visit Savannah Promotes North of the Border
Visit Savannah staff, Joe Marinelli and Erica Backus, traveled to Toronto, Canada last week to promote Savannah and Tybee Island. They partnered with representatives from Explore Georgia, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Perry Lane Hotel and the Savannah Music Festival to host over 50 Air Canada leaders and Toronto-based travel media and buyers.
At the event, Explore Georgia showcased music from around the state while Music Festival staff promoted their upcoming 30th anniversary in 2019.
Pax News was in attendance at the event and in a story published on Wednesday touting the convenience of direct flights from Toronto and Savannah’s warm Southern weather as two of the many reasons for Canadians to make time to visit Savannah.
