The Visit Savannah sales team and hospitality partners attended the annual meeting of the Professional Convention Management Association last week in Las Vegas. This annual meeting attracts the industry’s “who’s who,” including top meeting planners of significant associations across the US. A total of 2,500 people were in attendance. In addition, the team held a private VIP Visit Savannah reception that had an excellent turnout of 55 people. Prizes were given out that included two sets of round trip airfare to Savannah from Allegiant Airlines and a two-night stay at both the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa and the JW Marriott.
