Tanvi Chauhan joins the Savannah Chamber and Visit Savannah’s marketing and communications teams from Brewton-Parker College, where she had been an adjunct faculty of Business and Director of Information and Library Services.

Tanvi brings an eclectic professional background to the role: she earned her Master’s degree in International Affairs from Troy University (AL) and went on to publish her first book on the Caspian Sea in the early part of 2020.

Upon transitioning to this new role and city, Tanvi remarks: “I have loved Savannah ever since I first step foot in 2011. Today, I get to market it to national and international audiences. I finally see my love for public/global relations, writing, and travel coming together seamlessly in a role I am so delighted to take on, in a city I dearly love. I value my place at this organization and appreciate this terrific opportunity.”

Tanvi will oversee content and editorial for both Visit Savannah and The Chamber, as well as work with local and national media to help showcase Savannah and Tybee as top leisure and meeting destinations.
