Visit Savannah’s Director of Group Tour/Entertainment, Anjuli King, attended The Annual National Tour Association Conference in Reno, Nevada. This event brings together travel professionals from all over North America and around the world.

The conference features buyers of all types and specialties who meet with tour suppliers, DMOs, tour directors, and guides to building partnerships, collaborations, and creative itineraries. The activities included the presentation of the sales mission, podcast interviews, one on one appointments with tour operators, and panel discussions. The discussion this year dove into how creative marketing may add to a destination’s year-round appeal and extend its tourism seasons.
