Visit Savannah’s PR Team Attends Public Relations Society of America Travel & Tourism Conference

Visit Savannah’s PR team traveled to Madison, Wisconsin, for the Public Relations Society of America Travel & Tourism 2023 conference. This year, the conference included roundtable discussions with other destination marketing’s PR staff, along with sessions and panels by some of travel media’s top editors and strategy leaders. Attendees gained valuable industry knowledge from keynote addresses from outlet experts from Nat Geo Travel, U.S. News & World Report, and the Washington Post, among others.

The team gained new knowledge on maximizing PR and writer relationships, understanding new paradigm shifts in travel, best approaches for pitching, and cultivating new peer relationships across several DMOs.
