Visitor Center Managers Join Regional Information Sharing Trip
Liz Hood, Tybee Island Visitor Information Center Supervisor, along with Visit Savannah Visitor Information Center Director Mava Byrd and other Georgia VIC managers traveled to Sapelo Island, Georgia for a FAM November 21-22. Georgia’s Regional VIC managers meet quarterly to stay abreast of new attractions, events, dining and shopping in each community. While on Sapelo Island, FAM attendees took a Christmas tour, lunched at the R.J. Reynolds Mansion, visited the Sapelo Lighthouse and explored the Hog Hammock Community.
