In 2016, web developers Miles Partnership won the bid to redevelop VisitSavannah.com. The Miles Partnership team visited Savannah last week to meet with key Visit Savannah staff, experience the destination product and discuss planned projects. Topics of discussion included objectives and goals for the new website, a proposed site map, the site’s design direction, a content audit and the functionality and components of the new site. The new website will bring Visit Savannah’s content assets in line with its marketing strategy for 2017 and beyond.
Visit Savannah’s Vice President of Marketing and Communications Jeremy Harvey reported a productive visit with Miles Partnership and a positive view of the process ahead: “We are pleased to be working with Miles Partnership, a tourism industry leader, on the next generation of VisitSavannah.com,” he said. “The new site will position us for the future, bringing our valuable digital content program into our web platform and merging all of our leisure, meetings, weddings and our blog into one dynamic online marketing tool.”
