Tybee Island Holds Another Successful Pirate Fest
Tybee Island has put on another successful Pirate Fest this year! The online ticket pre-sales were on par with 2016, which would have been the highest in years without Hurricane Mathew’s interference. The festival has bounced back and Friday and Saturday were packed. According to Jenny Orr, director of the Pirates Festival, the festival was able to put together a great music lineup, carnival rides, zoo, and parade all with perfect weather. The festival king and queen are pictured at left along with an image of the popular Pirate Fest parade.
