Recently, Liz Hood from the Tybee Island Visitor Center represented the destination on Georgia On My Mind day at the Georgia Welcome Center in St. Mary’s, along with Mary Mallory and Teresa Willard with Visit Savannah. The group greeted visitors, gave travel tips, handed out the 2019 Insider’s Guide, and more. There are 11 official Georgia visitor information centers that welcome more than 13 million guests each year.

Through the end of the summer, representatives from Georgia destinations will gather at designated Welcome Centers to showcase their destination to the more than 13 million visitors who stop at Georgia Welcome Centers each year.
